Of Italian origin, this Monegasque driver has had a great career in rallying, participating as an amateur in more than 90 World Championship events, including 28 times in the Monte-Carlo Rally.

Already the owner of an Ascona 400 with which he competes in hill climbs, Jacques CURVERS bought this car in 2013 in original condition, with an automatic gearbox and 80,000 km on the clock. Its goal was to transform it into a rally car but with well-defined criteria: it should not be an Ascona 400 or an enlarged car, to have been driven by a renowned driver during a world championship event, all of this. with an unusual and pretty decoration. His choice therefore fell on Ascona with which Tchine took part in the Tour de Corse in 1983.
