Yesterday : Jean-Claude ANDRUET / Yves JOUANNY - Rallye Monte-Carlo 1975

When it was released, the Stratos was a real revolution. Built around a centrally positioned Dino Ferrari engine, everything was designed for racing. Lancia engineers had given birth to a real prototype destined to win rallies. From 1974 to 1976, the Stratos won three World Brand Champion titles. When Fiat took over Lancia, priority was given to the 131. But that did not prevent the Stratos from winning world events until 1981.

The car entered by Thierry MALGLAIVE is well known to spectators of the Alsace Rallye Festival, since it was at the wheel that Patrick HENRY took part in the two previous editions. It is now the turn of its new owner to take it to the Alsatian stages.
