Yesterday : François CHATRIOT / Michel PERIN - Tour de Corse 1984

In 1983 Renault took advantage of the transition to group B to present an evolution of its R5 Turbo, the Tour de Corse. Named in tribute to Ragnotti's victory in the Isle of Beauty the previous year, it benefits from changes in suspension, widened tracks and larger diameter rims. The power can reach 320 CV depending on the version.

During the 1984 season, the Renault Compiègne team will enter a car in the Diac colors for François CHATRIOT and Michel PERIN.

Christian KLEIN patiently and meticulously built this replica of the "medic" car with the advice of his then pilot.
