Yesterday : Klaus MIESCH / Karlheinz FRÖHLICH - Rallye Monte Carlo 1973
Rallye Monte Carlo is the event that makes rally enthusiasts all over the world dream. In 1973, 270 of them started from one of the 9 European cities which that year hosted a start of the concentration course.
Klaus Miesch and Karlheinz Fröhlich had chosen to start, like 46 other competitors, from Oslo. That year, the legendary event was proving to be particularly difficult. Only 51 crews will see the port of Monaco. The German pair will not taste this pleasure, having had to give up, blocked by the snow.
It was in 2008 that Georg Berlandi decided to build an evocation of this car. At the wheel he has won the Köln-Ahrweiler Rally 5 times. In 2016 Uwe Sturm acquired it and since then it regularly participates in rallies in Germany or in historic events such as the Eifel Rallye Festival.
