Yesterday : Hannu MIKKOLA / Arne HERTZ - RAC Rallye 1977

In 1977, Toyota used this Celica 2000GT (type TA22) in rallying. On the Rally of Portugal, Ove Andersson came third in this type of car and later Mikkola/Hertz finished second overall on the RAC Rally. Back then the car was powered by a 16-valve, two-litre engine built by Schnitzer.

As a great Toyota specialist, it is this car that John MIDGLEY has chosen to reproduce.
