Kevin ABBRING in Lancia Delta
Kevin ABBRING, ex-official Hyundai driver in the WRC will be at the start of the Alsace Rallye Festival at the wheel of a Lancia Delta Integrale.
Kevin ABBRING, has a CV in motorsport as varied as it is impressive. After winning the Dutch Ford RST Rallycross series in 2005 and 2006, he decided to focus on rallying. He impressed with class wins in the WRC and IRC and made his WRC debut with Hyundai in 2015, scoring points and winning several special stages.
After a decade in rallying, Kevin returned to Rallyecross in 2019. He currently drives a Mégane R.S. in the entire FIA World Rallycross Championship.
Abbring remains the youngest winner of a Junior WRC round to date. He has many successes with VW and Peugeot and in 2011 he was crowned "driver of the year" by the FIA. Over the past few years he has worked for several works teams as a development driver in WRC, R5 and WRX, and over the past 12 months he has been at the forefront of the push towards a sustainable future in motorsport, notably with GCK Motorsport, the Guerlain CHICHERIT team and their work on a hydrogen-powered Dakar Rally vehicle.
