ENTRIES ARE OPEN
For its sixth edition, the only French event exclusively dedicated to exceptional rally cars returns to the place where it was born.
From October 1st to 3rd, the Vosges Rallye Festival will once again take place in La Bresse. This Vosges town, with its rich sporting history—having notably hosted several rounds of the Andros Trophy—will once again embrace the Festival’s unique atmosphere, which it already welcomed during its first two editions.
The first day will be dedicated to technical and administrative checks, reconnaissance runs, and will conclude with a prologue. On Friday, things get serious: from early afternoon, the 150 expected crews will set off from the podium in front of the town hall for two loops of two demonstration stages, with a regrouping stop in Le Thillot.
Saturday will follow the same format: two loops of two demonstration stages, before a final road show at the LABELLEMONTAGNE site, whose natural terraces provide an ideal setting to enjoy the spectacle.
Still true to the Slowly Sideways spirit.
Although the Festival adopts the format of a traditional rally—closed roads, time controls, regroupings, and service parks—it is not timed and includes no classification. As always, the priority is on the show and the pleasure of seeing legendary cars in action, for the enjoyment of both drivers and spectators.
The service park, largely open to the public, will allow visitors to get up close to the cars. Enthusiasts will be able to admire icons such as the Alpine A110 Berlinette, Lancia Stratos, Peugeot 205 Turbo 16, Audi Quattro, as well as more recent models like the Ford Sierra Cosworth and Lancia Delta. It is also an opportunity to meet the drivers, whether amateurs or well-known figures. The Festival has previously welcomed legends such as Sébastien Loeb, Timo Salonen, Bruno Saby, Jean Ragnotti, Stig Blomqvist, Bruno Thiry, Miko Hirvonen and Patrick Henry.
Entries are now open.
Entries have been open since April 1st. The event is reserved for original historic rally cars (often genuine former factory cars) or their accurate replicas, in their period mechanical configuration and livery. Some exceptions may be granted to cars of particular historical interest.
