In the autumn of 1991, Lancia presented its Delta Integrale "Evoluzione". Externally it sports a new hood and the fenders are even wider allowing an increase in the tracks of
54 mm at the front and 60 mm at the rear. The stock engine gains 10 horsepower.
The result is a competition version even sharper than its predecessor, which in 1992 won eight of the fourteen rounds of the World Championship. Six will go to Didier AURIOL, who will finish 3rd in the Drivers' Championship, won by Carlos SAINZ on his Toyota. Lancia consoles itself by winning the brands title.

Stéphane FERREIRA reproduced the car of Didier AURIOL, victorious in the opening round in Monte-Carlo. Starting from a production car, he transformed it into a group A version. For 10 years now, he has participated as an opener in many regional rallies and has taken part in historic events such as the Alsace Rallye Festival.
