Yesterday : Rudi STOHL / Reinhard KAUFMANN - Rallye d’Argentine 1990

In the early 90s, the Audi 90s scoured the circuits. Fewer were those who ventured on the rally stages. Austrian driver Rudi STOHL took part in several World Championship events at the wheel of an example in the same yellow and white colors as the legendary Group B Quattro. Argentina 1990, he finished second in the Côte d'Ivoire Rally.

The Belgian tuner Lionel D'HONDT prepared three copies that he intended for rental. They have been piloted in several international events by "Tchine", Richelmi and Chieusse.

One of these 3 copies was found at a dealership in the Bordeaux region. Its Matter hull bears the number 29 which suggests that it is the last model built.

It has been restored and repainted in Stohl's model colours. It is thus matched to its VW LT assistance truck, identical to the one used by the factory in 1987.
