ernard Etienne GROBOT made his motorsport debut in 1968 at the Abreschviller hill climb, where he stood out by winning his first group victory at the wheel of an R8 Gordini. Quickly he connects the tests and the successes.

A talented and complete driver, he also participates in numerous rallies in the French and European Championships. We even see it in the World Championship in prestigious rallies such as the Tour de Corse or the Monte Carlo. He did not disdain the circuit and participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1973 with another rallyman, Jacques HENRY.

In 1998 he won 12 group victories in hill climbs at the wheel of a Ford Sierra Cosworth group N and became French Champion in the category.

At the Aix en Provence hill climb on Thursday May 8, 1997, his Escort Cosworth group A came off the road in the final bend. Bernard Etienne GROBOT lost his life in the exercise of his passion.

His 1998 champion Sierra Cosworth stayed in the family for a long time. Marc MISCHLER was able to recently acquire it to enter it in the Alsace Rallye Festival. Alongside him, Damien GRANDJEAN will exceptionally take on the role of co-driver.
