Among the countless versions of Ford Escort driven by Ari VATANEN is this original X series version. This is a special series for group 5 homologation. This model will be homologated in 500 copies by the RAC Great Britain.

Dominique KIEFFER's car is one of the few surviving examples. A lot of work has been done by its owner to be able to take the start of the Alsace Rallye Festival in the livery of the winning car of the 1978 Madeira Rally.
