Yesterday : Hugues DELAGE / Marc ARCHER - Rallye du Limousin 1990
It was in 1981 that Hugues DELAGE started in motorsport. For lack of means, he prepared his own cars. First a Ford Escort, then an Opel Manta, before moving on to the BMW M3. This is the beginning of a long love story with this car. DELAGE Sport quickly became THE specialist in the German sedan, initially designed for the track. It must be said that the boss is the best VRP there is. Alongside the many scratch victories, Hugues DELAGE also won the French Rally Cup three times but also twice the title in the second division.
After a busy career in modern rallies, Jean-François GROBOT has been oriented for fifteen years towards VHC with a Porsche 911 SC. For three years he has been driving this BMW M3, which was specially presented for the Alsace Rallye Festival in the colors of the one that won the 1990 Limousin Rally.
