Henri Greder created Greder Racing in 1969. While Conrero and Steinmetz were primarily interested in circuit racing or hill climbing, Greder decided to invest in his specialty: rallying. During this period he prepared everything the Blitz brand had in the sports catalogue. He thus entered the Kadett, the Ascona and the Commodore for drivers like Marie-Claude BEAUMONT, Jean RAGNOTTI or himself. All these cars had the 3 colors of France on the sides and a matte black bonnet, which later turned red.
